Whether you’re brand new to body waxing or just new to Bling Brow Bar, we want you to feel prepped, pampered, and totally at ease before your appointment. You’re in good (and glittery) hands! ✨ Booking Your First Appointment All appointments are booked online through our GlossGenius booking portal. It’s quick, easy, and available 24/7 (even if you’re booking at midnight in your pajamas). Under 18? Bring a parent to give consent for any above the waist services and we are golden! Got a question before you book? Reach out! We're here for all your waxing wonders and what-ifs. 🌈 Accessibility & Comfort Let’s talk comfort: Our waxers can adjust to your needs, with a stool to help you hop on up like royalty, a little leg support while bending knees to chest or a pillow to help hold your neck while lifting those lashes. Worried about pre-wax freshness, check out our bathroom! The warm wipes are a whole vibe. Need a little more body support? - Levia’s bed can be lowered to just 18 inches from the ground for mobility support and all of our beds and chairs in the waxing room can safely support up to 600 lbs. We want to make sure everybody feels safe, supported and comfy. ✨ Pre-Wax Prep – Let’s Get You Ready! Want smoother-than-smooth results? Here’s how to prep like a pro: Hair Check: Let it grow to at least ¼ inch (a grain of rice is your goal!). That’s usually about 2–3 weeks of growth. Scrub-a-dub (lightly!): Gently exfoliate 24 hours before your appointment to help avoid pesky ingrowns. Hydrate, baby! Drink up, happy, hydrated skin = happy wax results. Skip the Buzz: Caffeine and alcohol can make you extra sensitive, so try to skip them on wax day. Dress Code: Comfy BB – Loose clothes are your post-wax BFF. Skin Stuff: Using Retin-A, Accutane, or have sensitive skin? Let us know ahead of time so we can take extra care of you. Period PSA: Okay, real talk—menstruation is natural and totally normal unfortunately, we are sensitive gworls about blood so we don’t wax during that time of the month. Thanks for understanding. 💕 🌟 Aftercare – What to Expect Post-Wax You did it! Now here’s how to keep that skin soft, smooth, and glowing: Redness or tenderness? Totally normal! It usually chills out within a few hours. Keep It Cool: Skip the hot showers, gym time, sexy time, saunas, and sunshine for 24–48 hours. Hands off! No touchy! Your skin needs time to heal and hand are just to germy. Bubble up: Clean your skin with a mild, no or low fragrance ph balancing cleanser Exfoliate later (gently!): After 48 hours, exfoliate 2–3 times a week to keep ingrown hairs at bay. Moisturize daily: Happy skin is hydrated skin. Slather some water based lotion goodness on. P.S.
